National Resistance Movement is a registered Ugandan National Resistance Movement built on the principles of liberty, justice, equality and unity. We are a movement of experienced, passionate Ugandans committed to transforming our nation through sound economic policy and grassroots democracy.
Our founder members come from diverse backgrounds — health, technology, business, law, academia and civil society — united by a single goal: a prosperous, just Uganda where every citizen can thrive.
To enhance a social, democratic state and society in which all Ugandans will have a better life and feel at home as individuals and cultural communities, as well as nurture and sustain a democratic Government and state so as to enhance the political, social and economic welfare and equal opportunities for all citizens in Uganda based on the principles of liberty, justice, equality and unity.
A nation where all citizens enjoy their fundamental political, social, economic, cultural, and religious rights and freedoms in an environment of dignity and integrity — a Uganda that stands as a leading nation in Africa and the world.
